Alarm clocks have been in use for centuries as they ensure we wake up on time, without one, most of us will probably have a hard time making it to work every day.

As great as sleeping in sounds, being on time is a reality we often must abide. Without alarms, many of us would oversleep and wind up late for work or School. Businesses and schools run smoothly as they have a set time to be there and it is unacceptable to be late on any of those days.

Phone Alarms, many people now rely on their smartphones to wake them up. This may be the most convenient way, but be careful, bringing a disruptive device into the bedroom can make it hard to put down.

Sunrise alarm, there are alarm clocks designed to simulate a rising sun. With the use of a lightbulb, the clock will increase the amount of light in your bedroom gradually, making waking up easier and help to reinforce natural circadian rhythms that strengthen the patterns of sleep and wakefulness. Luckily a window without curtains or blinds can achieve the same phenomenon.

Quantity and quality of sleep can have a big impact on your ability to arise easily. If you do not get the recommended 7 – 9 hours a night you will be tired.
